Knowledge and Experience Sharing Symposium
4th to 8th March 2019, Voi Wildlife Lodge, Taita Taveta County, Kenya
The FBLS project has organized a symposium in Kenya over the period 4-8 March to exchange the latest research findings, knowledge and experiences in various aspects of flood-based livelihoods systems. The symposium is expected to lead to next generation investment ideas and concepts – key final outcome of the FBLS project.
Dr. Khalid E.A. Hassaballah, representative of Sudan FBLS, has participated in the event and shared the latest findings and experiences so far harnessed from the on-going solution-oriented research that is being undertaken by the Hydraulics Research Center “On farm water management in Gash Agricultural Scheme” over the period 2015-2019 tailored at improving the on-farm water management in the Gash Flood-based Agricultural Scheme.
